CARNIVAL
Our Student Council senior reps., Kent Blackburn, and Mary Sue Cook were solely responsible for our great Winter Weekend, which was held on Jan. 22-25. They spent hours on the planning and organization witnessed by the fact that the carnival went off so smoothly and successfully. The council made a clean profit of better than $250.
CANDY SALES
House of Quarks ranked third in this council venture. The top salesman for the house was Bruce Grass.
TWIRP DANCE - SADIE HAWKINS DAY
Again this event was due to the hard work of Mary Sue Cook and Kent Blackburn. For the first time in the history of E. S. S. a Sadie Hawkins Day was held. Everyone came to school in Hillbilly clothes. The day was topped off by a Twirp Dance to which the girls asked the boys. The dance was successful
with a large turnout.
QUARKS
House A executive picked our new name after much discussion and disagreement. It is quite different from the other Houses, but House A has no desire to be like everyone else.
